This Malbec from Zuccardi has a lot of intensity and complexity. We are talking about plenty of aromas of violets and blueberries with some aromatic herbs. In the taste, some black pepper and spicy tannins are added. This wine has backbone. Because 30-50% is aged on French oak foudres, the wine has a nice round mouthfeel. Vibrant acidity! This is really tasty, with a fine, chalky tannin. Actually, it's just amazing.
Food and moment
Wine to go with Black pepper steak! Can also be a nice traditional green pepper sauce though.... Also fantastic with a roe pepper with a small piece of bitter chocolate in the sauce.
