Crafted with highly kilned chocolate malted barley, this Lohin McKinnon limited edition single malt whisky exudes notes of vanilla and chocolate. Aged in French Sauternes wine barrels, it builds with a complex dark fruit character and mild sweetness.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: medium dark chocolate, hint of honey, agave nectar, fruits covered in dark and white chocolate, with some almonds, citrus
Palate: Green apple, honey, milk chocolate, dried fruits, figs dipped in medium dark chocolate, green paprika, a touch of oak spice, agave/Mezcal green notes, a touch of cocoa, toasted almonds, light roast coffee, earthiness almost coming across as peat, malt sweetness
Finish: Medium dark chocolate, coffee liqueur, candied lime peel, oak spice and barrel tannins, green apple skins, malt sugars
