Captain Morgan Rum Lime Bite - 375ml

$2999

Clear spiced rum, enriched with limes ...

The island of Jamaica is located in the northwestern part of the Caribbean islands, south of Cuba. Christopher Columbus first landed in Jamaica in 1494. Jamaica was under Spanish rule until 1655 when it became an English colony. Subsequently, it was significantly involved in the importation of slaves and the production of sugar and the production of rum. In its heyday, there were 125 distilleries in operation here, today there are only five of them. Rums from Jamaica are traditionally dark, heavy and very aromatic. They use yeast with a slower fermentation that will allow more aroma to be extracted.
The legendary Captain Henry Morgan was one of the most admired buccaneers of the 17th century. He became famous for his courage in the discovery expeditions to Barbados and Jamaica, as well as his generosity and sociability. His fame eventually earned him the governorship of Jamaica, but that in no way meant that he gave up his desire for a life of adventure. The rum market there became a new object of his conquering desires from 1680, when he created the famous Captain Morgan brand.
