Ben Nevis McDonald's Celebrated Traditional Scotch Whisky - 750ml

This lovely young Ben Nevis is a throwback to an old style of Highland malt that was once one of the most popular internationally renowned whiskies in Scotland. The small distillery at the base of the mountain of the same name makes a tiny portion of peated malt each year, and most of it is blended either in Scotland or Japan. But a tiny portion of that limited supply is destined for this unusual offering, a style that is all but dead in the Highlands thanks to modern technology and tastes. Bottled in the original McDonald's label from almost 130 years ago. Expect some strong peat and malt with subtle fruit and a taut yet oily texture.
