Alain Chavy Bourgogne Blanc is a delightful white wine from Burgundy, France. Wines hailing from the Puligny-Montrachet region are characterized by their green apple and lemon aromas and flavors. Compared to other wines, they tend to be tauter and firmer on the palate. Alain Chavy employs up to 15% 400-liter oak puncheons in combination with up to 25% new 228-liter Burgundian pièce for aging. The malolactic fermentations in their wines tend to start late and progress slowly, possibly due to the cold temperatures in their underground cellar.
