Boy, oh boy, we wish we could tell you the distillery name on this whisky because it’s quite clear: this Speyside distillery produces some of the finest Single Malt in the region. Rich, warm, and spicy; this whisky delivers flavors in exactly the manner you wish. Open a bottle and share with friends. STAT.
Nose: Opens on warm granola with a side of melted butter on whole wheat toast before a delightful citrus element appears in the form of lemon bars with rich buttery crust (yes, two different butter presentations on the nose!), and warm Oak spice manifesting around the edges.
Palate: Soft entry with vanilla custard, warm caramel, and oatmeal cookies to the front while sweet and spicy dark fruits (think black cherries and plump raisins) appear towards the back of the palate and guide the experience towards the finish.
Finish: Warm and lingering dark fruits, soft toffee, brown sugar, and coffee grounds.
